A replacement composite front door for a home in Melksham, finished in Chartwell Green with tall leaded glazed panels, a polished chrome letterplate and a crisp white frame.

The project
This Melksham homeowner wanted a new front door that looked right for the house, a cream rendered home with a traditional stone canopy on carved brackets over the entrance. The old door was replaced with a new composite door and white frame, fitted neatly within the existing opening beneath the canopy.
Chartwell Green is a soft, heritage-style green that sits comfortably against render, natural stone and planting, and here it echoes the shrubs either side of the path. The result is a calmer, more welcoming entrance that lifts the kerb appeal of the house without losing its traditional character.
